Ron Wilson
Ron has been involved in Education and Vocational Training for over 35 years with broad experience in a range of positions of management responsibility. Ron worked as a Teacher, Headmaster of a Primary School, Principal of a Special School and General Manager of a major Victorian TAFE Institute where he managed major Government contracts, led strategic planning and facilitated student learning support programs.
In 1996, Ron was recognised in the Australia Day Honours with the Public Service medal for outstanding public service when he introduced Vocational Education and Training to Victoria’s prison system.
Throughout his career, Ron has committed to his own lifelong learning and has used this drive to support many individuals and organisations to identify and achieve their respective visions.
Ron is still studying and is currently undertaking a PhD in Education, building on his Masters degrees in Educational Management and Leadership, and also in Educational Research. Ron has undergraduate degrees in Arts (Social Sciences), Education (Physical education), a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education, and a Diploma in Teaching (Primary).

Ron has also been actively involved in sport, as a participant and as a team manager. Ron managed the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey Team to three world championships (including a Gold medal in 2003) and numerous women’s, men’s and boy’s Ice hockey and In Line hockey teams to National and State championships.
